HOMESTEAD 2012

Every year my Grandparents hold a "Family Gathering" over the 24th of July weekend.  We love getting together and seeing all our cousins.  This year we went to the Homestead in Midway.

It is tradition for the kids to go on a beanie baby hunt.  Connor got an alligator. When I asked him if he liked it he said, "yes! Grandma picked an alligator for me because she knows I love Swamp People."

Swamp people is a show on History channel-It is reality television focusing on alligator hunters.

Today Connor was watching Curious George and he cried and cried telling me it was too scary and to turn it off.  Funny he loves Swamp People and Curious George is scary...go figure!

BROTHERLY LOVE

Brooks is definitely a laugher and nothing gets him giggling as much as his brother Connor. Connor took his first steps towards a milky way candy bar, 

and Brooks took his first crawl to his brother Connor, LOVE IT!!

 He can crawl across the room pretty fast but in this video he kept buckling over laughing.

So glad these boys have each other.

CONNOR'S 3RD BIRTHDAY

DISNEYLAND!!!

We spent this last week with my family in Disneyland.  We had a lot to celebrate, Christian graduating high school, Matt graduating jr. high and getting voted MVP on the Viewmont lacrosse team, it's also his Birthday soon.  Justin and Connor's Birthday's, Brooks' adoption being finalized next week.  So many accomplishments and fun things to celebrate. Where better to go than the happiest place on earth...right?!

We didn't get any pictures but Connor was nuts about Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Railroad.  He kept wanting to go on them over and over and he'd put his little arms up in the air, it was so cute!!

DISNEYLAND II

We loved all the shows and parades!

So many fun places to eat.  We loved Tortilla Joes, the Rain Forrest Cafe and the Beignets at the Jazz Express...Oh man so good!!! Thanks for the suggestions Melissa, Annie and Bonnie :)

Connor love the Winnie the Pooh ride, and we loved Pooh's corner.  We got addicted to "tigers tails" they are kind of like a scotch mallow on a stick, mmmmm!

He was thrilled when he got off the ride and Pooh was there!

He kept giving Connor hugs and kisses and gave him some special honey to make his broken arm feel better!
