PRESCHOOL

Connor on his first day of preschool.
He's been going for a few weeks now and absolutely LOVES it!

Oma bought him some special stickers for his container and made him a darling back to school kit with stamps and pens and everything a three year old little boy would love.

There are five children in his class and Connor is the only boy.  The other day we were driving home and he rolled his eyes telling me that all the girls brought dolls to show and tell, but it's cool because they loved his remote control car.
I am grateful for his darling teacher Angie for making school such a great experience for Connor!

SUMMER LOVIN

Summer is winding down and Connor is starting preschool this week.  I thought it would be a good time to catch up on some of our fun times...I had some awesome pics before my camera had a meltdown.  I'm so sad I've lost the cute pics of my boys having fun this summer.

We had a great 4th of July with family and friends. Connor especially loved the sparklers this year and Brooks was content watching the kids run around.

Last Monday we had BBQ in the backyard and played on the water slide ALL day long.  It was a great way to end the summer.

We've had a great summer but I am ready for fall, and Connor is so excited to start preschool on Tues.  I'll be sure to post pictures soon.  Hopefully no more camera problems :(

HOMESTEAD 2012

Every year my Grandparents hold a "Family Gathering" over the 24th of July weekend.  We love getting together and seeing all our cousins.  This year we went to the Homestead in Midway.

It is tradition for the kids to go on a beanie baby hunt.  Connor got an alligator. When I asked him if he liked it he said, "yes! Grandma picked an alligator for me because she knows I love Swamp People."
Swamp people is a show on History channel-It is reality television focusing on alligator hunters.
Today Connor was watching Curious George and he cried and cried telling me it was too scary and to turn it off.  Funny he loves Swamp People and Curious George is scary...go figure!

Cousins!!!

My darling grandmother, aunt Julene, cousin Whitney and her daughter Julia.

The view from our cottage...Connor keeps asking if we can move back into the brown house-in other words our homestead cottage with all his cousins.

Cute Gwendolyn with the boys

Cowboy poetry around the campfire.

We rode the Heber Creeper, could it get cuter than this....

It just might.  Here is a couple pics of Brooks excited to see his cousin Evelyn.

Kissing her! (memorial day picnic)

What a great weekend, Thanks Grandpa and Grandma!

BROTHERLY LOVE

Brooks is definitely a laugher and nothing gets him giggling as much as his brother Connor. Connor took his first steps towards a milky way candy bar,
and Brooks took his first crawl to his brother Connor, LOVE IT!!
He can crawl across the room pretty fast but in this video he kept buckling over laughing.
So glad these boys have each other.

DISNEYLAND!!!

We spent this last week with my family in Disneyland.  We had a lot to celebrate, Christian graduating high school, Matt graduating jr. high and getting voted MVP on the Viewmont lacrosse team, it's also his Birthday soon.  Justin and Connor's Birthday's, Brooks' adoption being finalized next week.  So many accomplishments and fun things to celebrate. Where better to go than the happiest place on earth...right?!

Here is the boys on the first day getting ready to go to the park!

Connor and his Dad

Peter Pan was the first ride we hit, because it is Oma's favorite

Brooks was in love with the Mickey Mouse Suckers...what could be a better introduction to table food than sugar?

So many fun rides

Our tea cup only had one speed which was...FASTER!!!!

Brooks being happy!

We didn't get any pictures but Connor was nuts about Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Railroad.  He kept wanting to go on them over and over and he'd put his little arms up in the air, it was so cute!!
